The draw to choose candidates that qualify for the Ontario Tech Pilot assists the Ontario government in searching the Express Entry pool for viable candidates. If the candidate meets the criteria of the Human Capital Priorities Stream or has work experience in one of the targeted National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes, they will receive Notification of Interest (NOI) on their Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) online account.

The application costs for the human and capital streams will be between $1,500 and $2,000. The processing times may differ depending on the number of applicants that enter at a time. The business stream is about $3,500 per key staff applicant or business partner.
